Gulfstream Delivers 50th G700 Jet: Redefining Luxury and Performance in Business Aviation

Gulfstream Aerospace has achieved a significant milestone by delivering its 50th G700 business jet, just over a year after the aircraft entered service in April 2024. This rapid production pace underscores the strong demand and the aircraft's exceptional performance in the ultra-long-range business jet market. 

Performance and Capabilities

The G700 is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines, enabling it to reach a maximum speed of Mach 0.935. It offers a range of 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nautical miles at Mach 0.90. Since its entry into service, the G700 fleet has accumulated over 11,700 flight hours and set more than 80 city-pair speed records. Notable achievements include a flight from Savannah to Honolulu powered by sustainable aviation fuel, covering 4,090 nautical miles in 8 hours and 52 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90, and a record-setting journey from Los Angeles to Sydney, spanning 6,507 nautical miles in just 14 hours and 26 minutes. 

Cabin Innovation and Comfort

The G700 boasts the most spacious cabin in business aviation, featuring up to five living areas. It offers high levels of customization, including options like a grand suite with a fixed bed and shower, an ultrahigh-definition circadian lighting system, and high-speed internet connectivity packages. The cabin is designed to enhance passenger comfort with 100% fresh air, abundant natural light through 20 panoramic windows, and the industry's lowest cabin altitude of 2,840 feet when cruising at 41,000 feet.
