Dassault Highlights Falcon 8X at Avalon 2025, Reinforces Asia-Pacific Expansion

Dassault Aviation showcased its flagship Falcon 8X business jet at the Avalon Australian International Air Show, highlighting its long-standing presence in the Asia-Pacific region and reaffirming its commitment to customer support and fleet growth in Australia.

Falcon 8X: Performance, Comfort, and Technology

The Falcon 8X, Dassault’s ultra-long-range trijet, features:

• 6,450 nautical mile (11,945 km) range
• Mach 0.90 cruise speed
• Advanced digital flight controls inspired by Dassault’s military aircraft
• Capability to land on short runways, including many across Australia

The display model also features the new Falcon 6X-style interior, offering a sleek, luxurious cabin with high-speed streaming and video conferencing capabilities.

Complementing the Falcon Fleet Strategy

Dassault also promoted the newer Falcon 6X (entered service in 2023) and the upcoming Falcon 10X, set to enter service in 2027.

• Falcon 10X: 7,500 nm range, ultra-luxurious with extended cabin flexibility

Growing Regional Support & MRO Footprint

• Dassault emphasized its growing Customer Service infrastructure in the region, especially after acquiring ExecuJet MRO Services in 2019.
• ExecuJet now operates facilities in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and a new 149,500 sq ft MRO hub in Kuala Lumpur, serving as a key regional service center.
